Hey guys. Been here for awhile but this is my first time posting. I have been pretty happy with my 06 but I stumbled across what looks like a fairly decent deal locally.
It's a 2010 GMC Sierra 3500 DRW crew cab Duramax. Has roughly 199k miles. 4x4. Cloth interior in meh shape. Exterior has some paint chipping. Has no bed, but the GN ball hook up and tail lights added on so I'm guessing it was ran without one. DPF deleted and "tuned". Has new brakes, shocks, batteries. Passed a safety inspection recently.
The seller is asking $13k. If I can get it for $11k or lower, I'll for sure take it home.
I have no real need for the truck, but it could make a killer sled hauling rig if I could find a flatbed for it, or I think even a pretty good flip if I can clean it up. What do you guys think? Worth it?

Also, sidebar: I have been getting awful mileage in my 06. I am getting roughly 11.5 mpg city, hand calculated, running empty. I drive it like an old man. Hardly any idling. Fuel filter is good, air filter is good, running 285 Duratracs which I'd assume would hurt mileage but not this bad. No blowby, have not had injectors tested but there is no injector haze and the truck only has 125k miles. Truck is fully stock besides cat and muffler delete. Any suggestions? I can't figure out what the heck the problem is. I'm not hoping for 20 mpg city but at least 14-15 seems completely reasonable.
