SURE IT IS! Just like a slip n slide when we were kids. Just $50,000 more expensive. I love driving in the rain. Feels awesome when the ass steps out at 70+
If it makes you feel a little better, I've been on a mileage kick for the last month or so... so I've been tuning and driving gently to see what I can get on winter fuel. Suprisingly great mileage when you don't beat on the truck...
...plus I am installing my co-pilot this weekend and will end up beating on it then to see whats what with shifting.. so I'm saving up all the thrashings for then
Trying to get mileage is tough, feels like everything is slow motion! Lol. Only time I take it easy is when my wife is with me...
And its kinds tough to enjoy the drift in the rain in the Houston traffic. These people don't know how to drive as it is, and it gets 10 times worse when it rains!
Intense thunderstorm rolling through today, sucks again
Yea Houston traffic sucks. I hate the city and live out a little more in the sticks. Much better.
The main thing, other than traffic, that I hate about the rain is that if any smoke comes out of my stack, the rain grabs the soot and pulls it down to the bed of my truck. So I end up with black speckles all over
I drove on snow only once. In Germany in a shit box BMW 325? or some shit like that. I hated it. Absolutely wasn't used to it at all. So I couldn't even imagine driving my truck in snow lol
I would love to drive in some rain. We did not get even 5 inches of rain in the past 14 months Need some rain, hard to farm the dirt that is blowing around in the air.
X2, but I won't say never again :roflmao:
however, I do turn it down to the tow tune, and it is always in 4wd during the winter....and that is with siped and studded tires.
