working on a 4.5 litter diesel little help

gotta problem overheating question is can a bad injector cause this any help is appreciated

Is this the little six bangers found in the Isuzu cabover trucks? If the only noticeable concern is overheating I would be looking at a waterpump, inoperatable fan clutch (electric?), cooling system or intake/charged air pipe problem. I would think an injector failing hard enough to cause an overheat problem would have other driveability issues.

X2, make sure the cooling system is up to par first. Any smoke out the exhaust? If there is enough fuel dumping from bad injector(s) you are going to have major engine problems.

thanks guys found the problem hairline cracked fuel fitting and changed thermostat took it out runs awesome :thumb:
