LMM: Wont start after running out of fuel

Hello guys. So I have an 07 duramax that wont start after running it out of fuel. I know, I know it was stupid but Im off the side of the road in rawlings, wy and cant get this thing started after priming and bleeding. Is there something I am missing? Any help is awesome!

Keep priming and when you think its good prime some more. There is probably still air in the lines.

Prime the system until the pump gets hard. Then go to the fuel test port next to the alternator. Get a screwdriver to push the fitting down and put a rag over it. Do it a couple times until no more air comes it. It should start right up.

Or if you have someone to help, have them pump it till it's hard, then start cranking while they pump the hell outta it and should fire right up.
