wont crank, stripped interior, battery delete

Didn't know where to post but it's day three and I'm out of ideas. I have stripped my dash down to the firewall no heater core or ac it's all gone. I deleted the passenger battery in the process. Upon trying to start the truck i forgot to hook up the bcm? Very passenger side module under dash, Grounds back to the cab, it didn't crank at all just reset the guages. I remembered the ground and hooked them up, same story no crank. Swapped batteries same thing, both batteries test good. Put my starter relay in my brothers truck and it started it up fine. I have a pink wire going to the starter relay that has 12 volts, a ground wire and the signal wire which isn't getting power when put in the start position. I jumped the sylinoid and it cranks. Corbin said the vats system is out of the equation because he shut it off before I got the truck, and I didn't have a security light anyway. Jumped out the pink and purple on the clutch safety, no luck either. Checked the driver side engine grounds they look fine. Day 3 still doing the same thing. Finally took the column apart, didn't really know what i was looking for and unplugged the ignition now I do have a security light lol. And i tried the vats relearn and the security light don't shut off after 10 minutes of waiting after trying to start and leaving in the run position. I pretty much have no clue at this point. Alot to read and I probably missed some but any help would be appreciated:thumb:

Relay will get ground or power from Ecm I think. Either one of those could be bad. I believe Ecm grounds and power comes from one of the ignition fuses hot

Ok I'll have to try to ohm that out and see what happends, it's a very very faint click when it's put into start. So faint it's hard to tell if it is in fact the starter relay. But it clicks everytime it's put to start. I'll check that wire out tomorrow a little harder. Thanks for the input

Any ideas why the security light didn't turn off after 10 minutes? Maybe because it actually didn't try to start it so it didn't start the vats relearn?

I thought you checked all fuses? Yeah check relay maybe ign e... First hold your finger and see if the starter relay clicks. If it does click and you know it internally works by using it on another truck, and your not powering the solenoid it's probably a broke connection from solenoid to that relat

Didn't check them for power coming in just if they were popped, I'll check on that stuff tomorrow and double check the starter relay and see if it's clicking for sure.
