LMM: Wisco Pistons

Just built my motor with the new Wiesco pistons and Carrillo rods. We are having issues tuning the fuel nock out under light load. It sounds just like a gas motor running cheap gas. It is a light pinging noise I have never heard before. The pistons are 15.5 comp.
They are new to the duramax this year and don't know of anyone running them.

You are the 2nd person I have heard say these pistons are noisy.

Pistons don't make your engine louder. Clearances do! Sounds like too much ptw clearance. Or tuning, fuel related. If mark can't answer your questions you may talk to others with more experience.

So can composition. :thumb: forged definitely sounds different than cast
