LLY: wiring harness question

How hard would it be to clean up the wiring harness on motor side? Mainly wanting get rid of connectors that are no long being used (egr, a/c, etc.) IM thinking I could just unpin the wiring from big bale connector and turn off codes in computer. truck is 100% trailer queen.

Not hard, just time consuming.

Not hard at all, like said above just a bit time consuming and can be somewhat messy if your harness is nasty.

any recommendations of what kind of type to rewrap harness in? had a slight fire on the passenger side a while back and messed up the wiring wrap.

I bought some stuff from painless wiring, it looks like braided line, I think it was abt 200 for the covering kit.
