Just a bunch of wire to relocate the ECM/TCM/FICM to the back passenger side in the cab.

I believe it is 16 gauge.

I deal with a company called Omni Cable I'm sure there is a supply house local to you that does too, they have almost every type of wire available.

Got it on the way...thanks alot guys.

500ft at first, cause I'll prob lose interest for a few months after moving one of them.

500ft was cheaper than 200ft that I found elsewhere:thumb:

16 gauge probably be better anyways because of the distance your moving it, you won't get as much voltage drop. Not sure if it is a big deal on a DC system or not but still always better to use a size bigger when moving something farther away:thumb:

Damn... I've been wanting to relocate all that crap for a really long time. What are your plans for the location and mounting of it all? Are you going to move the fuse box as well? That would be freaking awesome to mount the fuses somewhere in the cab. Under the back seat perhaps.

My cab is completely gutted....so I made a small 3 sided mount out of aluminum.

All wires will come in cab together and branch off to each side.

Should look pretty good when done....if I ever get done without stabbing my eyes out.

Fuse box will more than likely stay put. Maybe a winter project.

Ok. Sounds like it should be fun. What you going to use to cool the ficm while it sits in the cab? Or are you just going to let it be air cooled?

yeah dont think with my useage of the truck it will matter much.....

But one thing with electronics.....heat is the enemy.

So far today, I went ahead and ordered 1000 ft of 16 gauge, and 250 ft of 14 gauge....all High temp rated and thin skinned.

6 lbs of rosin.....

and 100 meters of heat shrink.....which is 328+ft for you americans....

this is gonna be one hell of a job....fml:thumb:

I just dont know where im going to come into the cab at.....any thoughts from you guys?

Make sure you take your time and take lots of notes and lots of pics John thats gonna be 1 hell of a project.I would move 1 at a time and start and drive the truck after each 1 move to make sure its going to be ok if you move everything at once and the truck wont shift right or wont even start then what???
