Hello all,
This may not be the right area for this thread but I wasn't sure where else to put it. This morning my windshield was iced up and being in a rush and not thinking it through I just decided to spray it with WW fluid. The passenger side wiper moved but the driver side was frozen in place. A few cusswords later it finally stopped and I got out to remove the ice that was "freezing" the wiper to the windshield and after that it still didn't move more than maybe 1/4".

I'm trying to figure out if the wiper motor itself is trashed or if its just the cover or something else. Has anybody had anything like this happen to them?

Thanks

Yeah I had that happen before. It wasn't the wiper motor. I had to tighten the nut on the wiper arm. It's located under the little plastic cap on the arm. Hopefully that's what it is and it isn't stripped.

Nut was on plenty tight but when I pulled the arm of the splines were silky smooth on the arm side. Looks like I'll be replacing an arm (phew, cause a new wiper motor looks to be north of $130)

Thanks
