me and my brilliant ideas....

Washed the truck. Then the van. Hmmm van has the flip up wipers, truck doesnt. parts van has flip up wipers...

They came off the parts van no problem. sanded and painted. tried to get off the truck and no deal.

I can try a heat gun.
Thanks

Try using a small pry bar with a curved end on it and pry up on it. They come off fairly hard but once you have removed them one time they come off easier the next time. Make sure you snug the nut back down pretty good because they are kind of swedge fit and will work loose if not tigt, don't ask me how i know..LOL..

very small puller

you can get one at any parts store. those things are worth their weight in gold. use them all the time :)

checked at my local parts store, nothing. did soak the studs yesterday. Just cant believe how easy they lifted off the van, and seem to be stuck on the truck.

dont know how it will look, but I painted the arms silver birch to match the truck. The van arms are just a little longer, but it might work.

just so you know to make the ones on your lbz stay flipped up they will need to be turned on til they are vertical. the higher hood will not let them flip up when they are parked.

looked like where the hinge was on the van arm it would flip up with hood closed. I'll take a closer look before I break something
