Winter Truck

Just picked this Powerstroke up a few weeks ago, It was originally two tone with grey on the bottom. I am not a fan of two tone trucks in General so I had the bottom half painted to match. I added a 3" leveling kit and bought some cheapy American Racing 18's for a set of 35" BFG's I had sitting in the garage. Overall I like the old girl so far, still not a fan of Long boxes but I think with the little bit of lift it kinda offsets the length a bit. Still missing the D-max but atleast this will hold me over untill I can get her back together better then ever.:thumb:

I hear ya This one is a 01 with the 7.3, Certainly is not fast by any means:baby: but I have had good luck with these motors in our work trucks in the past as far as longevity goes anyways. :thumb:

The 7.3 is a good motor. That truck is in nice shape. Congrats on the find.

Sweet looking truck! I have always loved super duty's and think they are the best looking truck. They make great work trucks, just not a good platform for making power

123k,, The last 7.3 I had, went 450+k before it blew the H.G.'s other then 3 transmission, few oil leaks, and the normal wear items it never had any Major issues. I will probably only run this one threw the winter though and then get another D-max to haul the 05 around more then likely..
