There is a program that will make it back to Win7 GUI. I forget the name.

Key thing for me was WIN button + Q to get all the normal stuff (it all appears to the right, sometimes you must scroll) and ALT-F4 to shut it down. Or CNTL-ALT-DEL.

Used windows 8 one time and I hate it. If I spent more time with it, i would learn and maybe even like it, but idk it would def take some adjusting...

I hate w8 in my pc, but love it in my tablet and phone. Well, it is made for touch screens, so it sucks with mouse.

Windows button + X brings up a menu, select "desktop" at the bottom. Its set up like win7 but no start menu.

I thought about downloading a program like you posted, but technology and I arent getting along right now

Click here. http://ninite.com/ and go to "Utilities". Then "Classic start" this will load the Win 7 start menu. Give it a try. Or wait until Win 8.1.:thumb:
