Window tint

I'm getting the rear window in my S10 tinted friday
and wondered what % to go with so if you guys
have any pics that would be great

I have a hard enough time seeing out of the single layer limo tint on my rear windows, I couldnt imagine layering it....................doesnt sound very safe

40% is good, 35 is hard to see out of at night.

I like the looks of the 5% but honestly, it's a PITA backing up in low-light conditions.

Not sure what I'd do my next go-round. Probably be 20%

I am 5% all the way around but I agree it is hard to see at nite. I like 5% on the back and 20% on my front windows. Works well for me.

what tint do stock gm truck have in the back two windows if you have a crew cab? I want to go dark but I think I will just match all four windows so they look the same. Plus cops around me are jerks...

people have told me they are 20% but if you read the little label on your window it should tell you it says that my exc are 13%

depending on your states law, missouri is 35% on front drivers and is the norm for most of our surrounding states..... rear is no limit and if you have a cc your back rears have no limit... i went 20% all the way around on mine and it matches the rear and sides very well.. i like it dark but backing up to the goose kneck is pita with limo...guess it all depends on you and if your cops think your just a guy with dark windows or they think your some punk riding dirty

I have 20% on the front windows of my ext cab and it matches pretty good to the back windows, also have a 5% band on the top of the front window that goes about 10 inches down from the top.

as for state laws any tint ont the front windows is not allowed but other than that anything goes but cops around here dont care

I just have my front windows 20% to match the back 3 windows. When it gets warmer out I'm going to do 5 on the back and 35% on my whole windshield

I have 15% on the front two and it matches my rear windows perfectly. My tinter told me that 20% will match the rear from looking through the inside but if you want it to match on the outside you need 15%. I will try and find some pics.
