Well I have received my PPE Lift pump from McRat Racing the other day and I'm working on the installation pieces. I have attached a very crude drawing of what i have in mind. If I splice into the 1/2" Fuel line on the frame rail with a couple of T's, I was planning on mounting the PPE Lift pump inverted on the brace between frame rails just in front of the Fuel Cooler. Now the T's are for a pump bypass, as I only plan on running the pump at the track or while using a race tune. Please let me know if you see any problems with this idea?

What is this check Valve? (i'm assuming the same thing as a diode?) And I'm guessing the mounting location and position are fine? Also the way I was planning on plumbing the T's, any issues?

RPM, your picture is what I started with NICE job, just to rich for my blood.

yor gonna need a check valve ( Brass piece on top in RPMs pic) or a flapper of some kind so when the pump is on it wont short cycle the fuel around itself and sends it to the motor

also if the pump fails on you the check vlv will open and allow fuel to by-pase the failed pump ;)

I like the idea of using the airgun to shot the fuel back into the tank. How much fuel can i expect to leak out when cutting in? 1 gallon, 5 gallons whats a lot of fuel? Going to cut the line tomorrow, just finished all the relay wiring through a switch in the Socal gauge mount, everything is working out so far. Hope to have this finished before Thrusday.........Race day! Thanks for everyones help and advice.

If you blow it back with a airgun be sure and take the fuel cap off. When I did mine I actually pressurized my tank and fuel kept coming out of the line.
