will a 1500 syle grill work on a 2500hd ?

I was looking to buy new grill but the one I want says will not fit hd models??? Is there a difference?

Chevrolet, grilles are the same; bumpers are different (HDs have a taller top cap). GMC, bumpers are the same; grilles are different (the HDs have the black spacer on the bottom of the grille).

will tat leave a bigger gap in the bumper tho if the grills were different people keep saming there different sorry.. thanks joe
