just had my suncoast stage 4 done and now i notice whenever its idleing and im sitting in the truck i can feel this wierd vibration. its a constant vibration but it comes and goes, like it will vibrate for 2-3 seconds then stop for 2 and then repeats.

also dont know if this allison related but when ever i stop it feels like there a clunk in my rear end when i stop and when i let off of the brake pedal, im thinking my u-joints possibly?

any ideas?

are you sure that the clunk that he is talking about isnt the tranny dropping down to first gear. everyonce in a while when i come to a stop it will clunk down to first gear and the truck will feal like sum one tapped you on the back bumper

the clunk happens when i come to a stop and when i release the brake pedal, i booked my truck in for wednesday, so i guess ill see what the dealer finds, and they're going to replace all my u-joints (they better cause i told them too and because MPLTed said they were getting stiff).

My trans does the same thing (vibration). Had two different 1057s in it too.

Apparently it's normal...or so I was told.

well i guess the vibrations are normal, now on to the clunk. bad news i got from the dealer is that i had a loose inner tie-rod, loose sway bar links, my transfercase had NO oil and arent sure if its toast. my front diff was leaking on both seals, one u-joint was seized and both my headgaskets are shot (Apparently)

My 01 does the same thing. I think its tcm related but what do I know.

I believe the vibrations are normal as well, my truck seems to have the same "manners" yours does.

I think I might take it to another dealer.

i have the same vibration too. didnt know if it was normal or not, sounds like it though.

i do have what feels like some slop in my drivetrain, if driving around in 4th gear TC lockeed and i tap the throttle it will jerk around, dealer said everything was fine though.

The PPE will put your tranny into fast learn, but it will not reset TAP's. Just to clarify.

Everything in my tranny was reset with EFI-live, the 3-4 shift is still a bit rough in tow/haul and my 1-2 seems a little bit rough also.

I still dont have my truck back yet from the dealer, getting my headgaskets done

reeces 02 has a 1057 and it doesnt vibrate at all. i cant help but think something must be wrong we have a couple trucks running around here with 57s from lb7s to lbzs and they never vibrate after a build

Its awesome. Before my trans had 305 000km, or around 190 000 miles and it would sometimes shift hard or bang. Now the shifts are smooth and crisp, but it does take a while for it to smooth out and i would wait till you start beating on it or you could damage something, my 3-4 is still rough on tow/haul.

You can also feel it when it locks up, doesnt snap your neck back but you can definately tell. As for spooling i havent done any burnout's or boosted launches but i only have a hypertech tuner and it feels as though it needs a bigger tune (I think i might get a ppe). ive hit the rev limiter many times with downshifting from 5-4.

I put a Precision Convertor in an LMM, and it has the exact same vibration, I put a precision in my wifes LB7, no vibration. I have a 1054 in my LBZ no vibration, and have yet to feel the same vibration in any other suncoast equipped truck.
