Does anyone have a clue why my passenger's heated seat will stay on forever as long as the driver's isn't on. Once the driver's seat is turned on and is on for about 15 seconds or so they both shut off. If the driver's seat is turned on by itself it will only stay on for about 30 seconds or so then shut off. originally i thought it might be a bad element in the driver's seat but now i'm confused. Any held would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. -Garrett

Mine does the exact same. Duratothemax said that a bad element would shut both sides off. My friend at the dealership said they have been having quite a few coming in with the harness rubbed through down by the rear of the seat. I haven't had a chance to look at mine yet.
on my truck neither seat works and drivers side power seat stuff doesn't work , even tho pass side power works fine . i have checked fuses and haven't found anything . the 1/2 seat memory doesn't work and no lights on heating part for either side .

That sounds like a harness. Id replace the fuse for grins (located where yo plug a trailer brake in). Like Albert said check the harness located under the seat.
Were is the fuse ?? Also have issues my driver will not work an passenger will only work for a bit then shut off
I had the exact symptoms. It was a burnt heat pad just had to 'unwrap' the seat and visually inspect to see. Mine was the seat back pad, check out the black part.
