Question: widest tire/rims for stock 06 gmc lbz?

how far out can I get my wheels without a lift? I dont want to use spacers but want the tires to reach the wheel wells or stick out a little bit.

Are going willing to get a big hammer and a angle grinder out? I am running a 33/12.5 on a 9 inch wheel currently, but it took some work to get it to clear with my truck to being lower a bit. You could clear 35 if you did a lot of trimming and cranked your torsion bar and put lift keys in. Look up the Nor Cal large fender mod and it will show how how to make them clear. Depending on how wide your wheels are you may have to trim your bummer.

I am thinking I will crank the torsion bars and install shock extenders. I don't mind minimal trimming. I'm really looking to just get the aggressive look and get them just past the fenders don't really need to go 33s

I've put 37x12.5r17 on stock dodge wheels with cranked bars and some cutting. They were just Yokohama AT so no crazy side wall.
