Has anyone seen this set up they have it for dodges but not D-maxes ?

All they have done is remove the stock cp3 and put it where the 2nd pump on dual fuelers would be . Then they put a smaller pulley on the pump and put out 33% more fuel .

So I am wondering if anyone is in the process of building a kit for us D-max guys . Or at least know what size pulley is needed then I can build one out of a dual fueler .

Spinning a stock pump faster will not help any. It may hurt your power as the pump will start to float the pistons and or have a hard time filling the bore with fuel. Kinda the same problem with a big single vs a twin setup. A twin pump setup is going to be hard to beat. Jeff

my only problem is that the places I pull the most are single pump rules for the street class . What would you reecomend in my situation Sting .

Since it is a fixed displacement pump, more rpms would be more flow but at the cost of longevity and at some point it will cavitate no matter what positive inlet psi you have.

Remember, pumps create flow and not pressure. Pressure is simply the resistance to flow.

If the kit is cheap it might be worth doing. but like said above, some classes are going to restrict this from being used and where it is legal to run, 33% won't be enough fuel.

I'm in the same boat as Jeff on this.

I think spinning the pump faster will help at lower engine rpm's, but gains will quickly diminish as speed increases. It's pretty well known that these pumps drop efficiency quickly at high rpm. My thought on why is there isn't a physical connection between the plunger and crank during the down stroke. The plunger has a spring that returns it to the bottom of the bore. I have some ideas how it could be made to work better at higher rpm, but I don't see big gains with a stock pump.

My problem is at about 250 ft my truck throws a low fuel rail pressure code and you can here the tone of the engine change . I can't really complain on how it has ran this year but am definately doing something about my lack of fuel for next year . Would a wicked stage 3 be the best route to take ?

Wicked pump

A wicked pump would be your best bet imo. I don't really think the little tricks do a lot. Drop the pulse back and it should run a little better. Don't think because everyone runs 3200/3300 that it's the best for for truck. I went the fastest with less pulse on my stock motor. Jeff

Thanks for the info guys I talked to Wicked today and I am going with a wicked stage 3 this winter and if I keep going on with this damn sport of truck pulling ( that I can't seem to quit ) I will do the revo kit on it . I am sure it will be available by the time I will need it .
