This is a blog I have been posting around, looking to get a couple views.

Sorry for the grammatical errors and the length.

With our economy slowly going down, a war going on overseas, and our fuel costs still high, should we trust Barack Obama and Joe Biden in office?

The current state of our economy is not good, we're having the most lay-offs now since the great depression, and according to Barack Obama's plans, he wants to redistribute the wealth. How he plans to do that? Raising the taxes on people who make over 250,000. In case you didn't know who made over 250,000, those are business owners, small and large alike (more lay-offs), Doctors (higher medical costs), Lawyers, and people who simply made a living doing what they do. First of all, it's basic economics to know that businesses don't take the fall when it comes to money. If food goes up, McDonalds raises it's prices or lays people off. All we need right now, while millions of people have lost their job, or on the verge of losing their job, is having taxes increased. Oh boy, I get a thousand dollar check because of the redistrubtion of wealth! Too bad I don't have a job though.

On top of that, how is it fair that the people who spend 8-10 years in college, accumulate a couple hundred thousand dollars in debt, spend their entire high school and college career studying, than go into internships and get horrible pay for the next couple more years fair? Barack Obama's plan is going to take huge amounts of money from these people to give to the middle class, but what is this going to do for our economy, other than make my medical bill go up, my law fees higher, and I wouldn't be able to afford either because my place of work just fired me? What is Barack Obama's plans going to do for the people who spent their time in college, what is Barack Obama's plan going to do for ME, other than give me a check (economic stimulus act much?)

Another big issue we must look at is the current war in Iraq. Barack Obama, a man with no military experience, contradicted what General David Petraeus, a man who is currently serving in the United States Army, and ground commander in Iraq said that the surge was working. Obama stated that the surge was failing. The current war in Iraq is soon to be victorious, and by votign John McCain, victory can be achieved. Barack Obama plans to pull out prematurely, which can cause the past five years to be fought in vain, but it's okay, it's not like our ally Israel is in any threat by neighboring Iran and Syria, and it's not like by pulling out of Iraq we can allow the country to be taken over by terrorists again, and be put in the same state that Saddam Huessein had the nation in, and it's not like we'll probably be back there in five years doing the same job we did. The death count is at an all time low, the war is soon to be finished. Let's finish the job once and for all, and not let Obama, and the left-wing finish prematurely. Whether or not someone agrees with the war, we must finish the job properly, not what Obama calls properly.

Energy independence. One of the biggest issues today. John McCain plans to drill in Alaska, use the coal scattered around the nation, use solar and wind in the sun belt, and the Great Plains. These plans can open up millions of jobs in Nuclear, oil, solar and wind power, and make our nation independent from Middle Eastern countries that really don't like America. Barack Obama plans to invest in alternative fuels, but does not have any plan for oil. In case you didn't know, almost every vehicle in America runs on oil or E-85. Maybe I can buy a new car that runs on alternative fuel, ohh yea, that's right. Because of supply and demand I won't be able to afford one of those fancy new cars, especially because I either A) will have a have more taxes placed upon me or B) Have no job because of Obama's tax plans that got me laid off, and finally, it will take YEARS before we can make every vehicle and home in the nation reliant on alternative fuels. We need to use what we have RIGHT NOW, to get our nation away from foreign nations. We need to drill now, we need to drill here, and we need to have jobs opened up. I rather have the $700 billion we spend every year on foreign oil in Alaska, and around our nation, and have macro economics occur (look it up if you don't know what macroeconomcis is)

To clarify my own views, I consider myself a Libertarian, meaning I have democratic social views, but republican economic views. I am pro-civil unions, and support abortions during the first tri-mester, or if the mothers life is at risk, but that does not sway my vote to Obama. I am for finishing the war in Iraq, I am for macro economics, I am for drilling in Alaska, and I am for reganeconomics that the McCain/Palin ticket wish to use while in office.

-Barack Obama plans to cut down our DEFENSE bill, in a world that really doesn't like us

-Barack Obama's promises change, but what change will he bring? More jobs being lost, still being reliant on foreign oil?

-Barack Obama calls McCain a third Bush, because McCain voted 95% of the time, but let's break that propaganda a little more. McCain voted with President Bush 95% of the time in the year 2001 (Senate Quarterly Assessment), when President Bush had an approval rating of a whopping 90% post-9/11.

-Barack Obama claims to work bipartisianly, but has voted with Democrats 98% of the time. That's more times than Speaker Pelos(D-Calif)i, and Majority Leader Reid (D-NV).

-When it came to taking five weeks off, Democrats voted almsot unanimously for it, while gas prices were rising, and shut down the Republicans as they tried to call everyone back (literally, killed the lights a mics). The Republicans, which are being criticized highly did what many Americans did, and canceled their summer vacations due to high gas prices. All we need now is democrats controlling the House, Senate and White House.

-Did you know that Senator Joe Biden (Barack Obama's running mate) endorsed John McCain at the beginning of the election, saying he'd rather have McCain in the white house, and how Barack Obama was incapable of being president.

When it comes to this election season, we must look past the change. When an average joe questioned Barack Obama about his plans, that man got harassed, that man was beaten by the left-wing media, and insulted by Obama, (joe the plumber). We must look, not at the person who's change will lead our nation further down the drain, but the man who's voted bipartisianly, Fought for our nation, and stood in public office.

Use your brain, vote John McCain.
