Why did you buy the truck you did? Is any certain reason a constant for each group of buyers> Just see a trend with GMC with Denali popularity now and Chevy more for worker and tow truck perhaps lower price on Chevy?? See what's said might be good to talk about.

I don't like the 03-04 front ends, love my 06 front end. and love the 02 chevy front ends, I wanted an lbz though. I used to HATE the look of the 01-02 gmcs, but now something about them I love, I guess they just look tough. I really like them all but I just got a good deal on my 06
I like the hood better on the classic chev's... otherwise I like the looks of the GMC... pretty much always have on all models offered both ways.
Seems they run a little more as a general rule though, hard to pay more though so I found a Chevy at the right price and went for it.

I prefered the GMC and had an 03. When I traded the 03 in on an 06 the Chevy dealers deal was so much better I could'nt turn it down. Now that I've had the Chevy awhile, It's grown on me.
The dealer had it, I needed it and it made it home without makin any funny noises..... so I bought it
We don't have a GMC dealership here really they have 1 d-max every 5 years. I like them both I prefer chevy, I'm not quite smug enough to drive a GMC yet.:hello:
Impulse buy. I just wanted to get a duramax after I read about them in '02. In '04 I found one I could afford.
1) I like the GMC look better on the LMMs
2) I got a CC/SB SLT loaded GMC duramax for 4K more than a SCLB chevy work truck. 2 more doors and leather and bose etc... for 4 grand sounded like a deal to me. Plus i'm rich and affluent haha. And smug.
