my dad got one with the auto in it, took it to the track a month or so ago and ran a 13.5, all i can say is the 6speed auto is badass, u hit 100mph and it still pulls hard....only thing i dont like about it is its kinda hard to see out of but u get used to that after driving it a couple times

o and it gets damn good mileage too

I drove one that a guy wanted some tuning on. It does take some getting use to as far as seeing. It is a really low profile feel. Kinda like a chopped roof vehicle. I didn't run it but you know it has some real power.

I drove a ss 6 speed manual about a month and a half ago (GM had a fleet of cars for the employees to test drive). The car is really nice, not really for tall people though (head room sucks). The car pulls really hard in 1st and second gear, 3rd gear bogs for some reason unless you are doing like 80 mph in 2nd and shift into 3rd. I was not impressed with the power, it needs like 500hp to move that 4000 lb car a little better. Braking is top knotch, and steering is pretty good. Overall its nice, and with some tuning it should be badass.

I drove a six speed. It drove good and its fast but i could not see s$$$ out of it. Going from a 4in lifted cc dmax is a big difference and takes so gettin used to. I might purchase one in the future tho. I here the six speed ss will get about 20 mpg if ran easy, but who would do that.

The first time I drove my mom's I hated it because I couldn't see, but after driving it a few more times it seems to grow on you.

I had one in here for an oil change-damn expensive one to-
I don't like the way the front end is put together. Does not really have what I call a lower control arm. It looks very weak and the way it is attached it seems very easy to sheer on a hard pot hole or curb. I still want one but I want the slp 575 6sp special edition. car seems very destructible minus the actual cabin. Sucks to cause I love camaros:(

I just found out our dealer has a slp 550. He is working up a trade for moms. He asked if I waned to test drive it but I didn't have time to. Maybe it will be sitting in the garage by Monday then I can test drive it all I want

I helped Tim put a procharger on one, it was an auto, i didnt like the view, and stock form ,i thought it was kind of a turd. When we put the procharger on it, it woke it up, and ran a lot better, but i really still wasnt impressed. That might be do to the fact im used to my truck i guess.:D

Tim has a pontiac g8, which imo is much better looking, and the interior is much better, and stock to stock, i think the g8 would take it, well see if Tim can spank the procharged camaro, when ever he gets is new mods on... i have my money on the g8.:D

Test drove a manual and auto 6.2. Both were fun but didn't hold a candle to my truck. Figured I'd be better off buying a Z06.
