LB7: who sells oversized pistons

I called GM an appernatly they only sell .50" over an thats it??? I want cast pistons perferably as this is going to be daily driver an dont need forged ones though from the costs im seeing almost might be worth it to just make it a damn race motor thats what i get for buying a water damaged motor from someone..... or does anyone want to trade a .20" over bored lb7 block for a stock lb7 block kinda wanted to run stock pistons for money reasons an what not but unless someone knows were to get some pistons im kinda at a road block becuase of cost

Gm does not sell a .50 over piston. They sell them in std,.20,.40 I sell these from Gm and also other sets from Socal Diesel in cast stock or cut coated or how ever you want them.

How far can you bore these motors? Can you even safely go .050 over? I'd think .40 would be pushing it,no?

Ya I know what your saying and I did omit a 0 when I typed .040. That's all I do all day is mic material in decimals. Others are way off as you pointed out .

You want them .020 over do you want them cut & coated there 2,300 not coated is 2,000 thats OEM cast Mahle comes with rings and pins and clips.

Stock OEM Mahle replacement pistons .020 over and rings and pins clips 1,600

Mahle Forged .020 over cut and coated on the skirts only 2.600 rings and pins and clips also

I will dig the part numbers out later there packed away.They sell them with and without rings and wrist pins and clips at the dealer.
