Who has`changed a rear inner seal?`Help!

Leaking rear seal p-side and bought a napa seal and it dosen't fit??? The ring,sleeve that fits the factory seal doesn't fit the napa one... so go to another parts store and buy another.....same thing? do I remove the factory sleeve or what??? anyone changed one before?

I had same problem I ended up at autozone getting the timken the oe is a timken and they stock it. when you pull the seal the # is on it.

thx thats and idea, but I have bought two seals and wonder if they can actually be used???

Did you pull the other seal out? The new one will be a tight fit. I can post the Gm specs in a few for you.

digging around(i did remove the factory seal and sleeve) I think your are supposed to remove the sleeve and install the new seal. I did this and I can barely move the rotor now. Is this what you are taking about?

how tight is the rotor suppose to be? free spinning....
