White smoke= not good??

Well as many of you know i bought my first dmax about two weeks ago. 03 lb7. Well today after picking up my exhausht from newly i took off and it started blowing white smoke everywhere!!!!!! And my oil smells like fuel! F%$K!!!! so needless to say it is sitting at the dealership were i bought it waiting to get checked out. NO WARRENTY. any ideas of what it is?? Newly is thinking injectors.

well i have a friend that had kind of the same problem and what happends with his was that a gasket broke and the fluid coulder was gettin into the engine i think in the headers or some like that so if its that it may bean ez fix but any ways good luck with it

If you have fuel in the oil.............It's most likely injectors.

anybody know about the waranty? I though it was 200k? might be a time deal though.

GM extended it on the crappy lb7 injectors.

Make, you will be ok with the warrenty. Take it to Hi country in Aztec. They did mine with no questions asked. Talk to sheri.

I was working on buying an 01 with 176k on it and noticed that it was blowing pretty bad white smoke. Took it to a chevy dealer and ended up being 4 bad injectors and 2 blown head gaskets. They are going to warranty the injectors for some reason. Not sure if the dealer that had it is going to fix the head gaskets or not but now I am shopping again

seeing as how you just got the truck and its still stock you should have no problems getting it fixed under warranty.

I wouldn't give up on it, you are getting it fixed the dealer should stand behind everything for 30 days or more, if you bought it from them.

so here is what the dealership told me today...... I had a bad glow plug relay and it would be fixed by 5. Im on shift so cant get it till tomorrow. But that doesn make sense with white smoke(even when good and warm) and fuel in the oil HaHA Im hoping newly will chime in cause i didnt here back from him today he told to ask for a print out of something to do with the injectors cant remeber what?? but glow plug issues just dont sound right

Get it away from that $hitty dealer and get it to Hi Country. They are straight up and will help you.
