Interesting. I notice a whine quite often myself, more often during cruising. I usually have my foot close to or on the floor when accelerating so everything is pretty noisy, and hard to pick out a specific sound. I was convinced that it was from the rear diff because it sounded like a gear whine, but one day I turned the radio off and actually listened carefully and it is coming from the engine bay somewhere. I’ve been in other L5P and notice the same sound. The L5P is a very noisy and unrefined engine if you ask me.
