i currently have just a stock LLY Y-Bridge with banks boost tubes... I hate the Gooseneck setup on the LLY's, I have been looking at various setups and am pretty sure im going to go with an LB7 Y-Bridge, will it be necessary to modify my boost tube to accommodate the different routing? Or can i just run a long boot?

to run an LB7 bridge, you will have to modify the piping a fair amount. I dont think just adding a longer boot will cut it.

I run the LBZ dmax van bridge. Its similar to an LB7 bridge, but works with the larger LBZ/LMM intake runners.

Check out the pics in my garage. I put the LB7 y-bridge on my LLY when I put Subman/mika's old lb7 twins on. It's a bitch to tighten the lower nuts for the y-bridge, also the clamp for the turbo inlet is really tight. I think Ben's idea of the lbz van bridge would work better for you with less hassle.

Nice setup BTW... I will be running an S475 with a 2 inch spacer between the pedestal so i should much more clearance than the stock turbo at stock height, but how much? i do not know

Yes it is.

The PPE pedestal with the spacer is 6.25" tall, the same as Ricks pedestal that i am running.

The charger is much higher than the stock location.

Thanks. Next issue is the LB7 Y-bridge is fairly small, I was going to hack mine off & go 3" into the Y but the mpi intercooler tubing is small also, so I left it alone. You should have plenty of clearance, plus your using a regular clamp instead of the LLY v-clamp.

Oh & I'm a idiot I didn't realize that the garage doesn't work like DP's. I have a couple albums under my profile that have some pics of the Y-bridge.

ricks pedistal is the way to go, but it's not alot of space either way, since your intake will be taking up so much room on top of the bridge. i'm going the route of lbz runners and modded lbz van bridge unless Russ finishes his project first.
