Hey guys I am
looking at buying a truck tomorrow and I have narrowed it down to 2
but I don't know which one to buy. One is a 07 gmc classic lbz the other 08 lmm both gmc both red cc/sb bout the same price mileage close too. What do yall think? Oh the 08 is stock the 07 has trans done and some other goodies. Will I regret getting another old body style? Thanks guys

Thanks for the replies sounds like most say go new. I will be racing and some sled pulling with it didn't know how the newer ones were holding up.

Guys I did it! I got the 08 its a red Gmc cc/sb fully loaded even has nav and sunroof. Time for the mods to start. It is bone stock. First question is can I bolt the stock exhaust that I had on my 04 Lb7 on this rig? I took the muffler out of it so it was straight pipe i had this on it before I bought the 5". I am hoping this works until I buy an exhaust. Thanks James

I would say the pistons are the weakest link on the LMM's, alot of guys have cracked them trying to run hottter tunes.
