Looking for a stainless pedestal for a t-4 foot. It will be on an s400 charger, so what size will I need? 7"? I'm looking at stainless cast ones from HTT it Turbonetics but can't find much info. Just looking to get one pretty cheap and didn't know if I needed a spacer because they don't say how tall they are, I know the HTT one is 5" IIRC. Thanks!

We have had good luck with the HTT pedestals with a 2" spacer. We have the spacers machined so they can be setup with or without a gate. It's a nice setup!

I am using a PPE one and a spacer. We had the spacer and pedistal welded together. it is dual gated under the small turbo. I like how it fits and is very solid.

?

Should be good, just keep and eye on drive pressure. The kit I bough came with three gates. If I where to have it built from nothing it would only have two, just to be on the safe side. I am not a tuner or professional they would give the best advice. QUOTE=kivetts04dmax;835527]I'll be running an s472/87/.90ar so I don't think I need a gate?[/QUOTE]

It seems like all the tubular peds crack one way or another, regardless of fabricator. At least from what I have seen.

Mine is 6.5" tall for reference.

thanks for the info guys, I think I'll get the HTT with a 1.5 or 2" spacer, seems like my best bet..anyone run a turbonetics? got a couple people wanting to sell me one..

IIRC the turbonetics comes with a built in wastegate port. Handy if you ever plan to twin or build up. It is also cast like the HTT/BD and Fleece peds.

It's in a pita spot right out the back just above the up pipe connection it's the current ped I'm running now if I can't get the gate to sit how I like it I'm going back to a htt and a spacer with a port built in

Why not still use it and just use the spacer with the port? I have had both and I like the stainless turbonetics one a lot better.

Suppose I could but kinda defeats the point of the extra money for a damn wastegated pedestal.

the turbonetics also moves the charger more toward the center of the engine by about 1.5" which does move the ped away from the intake runner I do like that about it
