So. What to do next? Take the truck up a notch and upgrade my turbo? Or take that money and start bringing my '11 tdi golf up into the performance realm.... im really at a loss here. I have to choose, unfortunately. So thats where you all come in.
Let me have it, your opinions that is.  :D

How far are you going to take the truck? are you still going to use it for everyday DD and towing? You really need to answer this before you buy parts then throw them away upgrading again

Yes i plan to do it all with this truck. I have pretty muched prepped the truck for "the next level" so to speak. Check the sig. That is whats left of the stock parts. I plan to build the block, heads and add twins. And i would like to have 1000 whp on tap on the race tune. Call it a dream, i guess.

I doubt you can do 1000 rwhp on a DD, trust me I am pushing it with 800ish right now. Between the parts you need not being able to hold up past 20,000 miles, and the stuff you have to do to make that power it just isn't feasible. I was told the same thing about my truck, and pushed anyways and think I’m about at the limit.

But if you do want to push it, I think a 366 is a good thing to sit on there, easy to twin it later and save some money

Im srarting to warm up to the precision trent sells, but thats another thread all together. The truck is pretty fun to drive now, thats why im wondering if i should take on the headache of more power, or start my golf build. Im still so torn, the temptation of the duramax is hard to pass up.

For your goal of 1000 whp and still drive it on the street you can go buy 2 brand new dmaxes at least. And you know they will not blow up the next time you get on it.
Trust me, I know

It's an endless road of spending money. If your pockets are deep then go for it. If they are not (only you know), quit and enjoy a great pickup that will last a long time with routine maintenance:thumb:

I think i may just twin the stock charger when it comes time. Idk...
For now i think im gonna order some parts for the Golf. Ive been buying chit for the dmax for 10months at a rate of about 2k a month. Im tired of spending money on this truck for now.
