I'm working on a 1954 chevy truck conversion with a duramax swap. I have a lmm motor I'll be using but was wondering what the best harness would be to use or start with? I won't be using all the electronic stuff such as anti theft, air bags, etc, etc so it will be modified. Also I would like to use mechanical speedometer and other controls. Not certain on transmission yet but likely a zf6 or something other than allison. Any input is greatly appreciated!

LBZ, LMM, or ? I'm guessing I'll need to have it converted to a standalone unit by one of the reputable companies, so maybe it doesn't matter what I start with...

Start with an LMM harness motor and dash harness and go from there. At least you'll have less headaches that way. Don't know how you'll go about disabling the anti-theft devices though.
I would give Ben (BTDieselworks) a call or send him an email ([email protected]). That always seems to work the best to get ahold of him the first time. Also with it being the Holidays I know he's pretty busy but he's a really good guy.
