Question: Which Exhaust Brake Do You Prefer?

Since I'm on duty tonight I was looking through the list of things I'd like to add to the truck. One of them was an exhaust brake. I did a search around the forum and didn't see many posts on them, so I pose this question to yall.

Which Exhaust Brake do you prefer and why?

So far I know the contenders are the BanksBrake, BD Diesel's Exhaust Brake, and the PacBrake.

How do these things sound. do they hiss when in use or do they sound like a jake?

They hiss as they only hold back pressure in the exhaust, not working the valves like Jake's do.

What kind of prices have you found so far on these three?

So far as I've seen around 1100-1200 is average give or take a few benjamins...

I just ordered a BD for my tow truck , I will let you know how i like it ,I wont be able to install it for a few weeks though .

That is designed for trucks with the VNT, so it won't work on his LB7.
