I'm trying to figure out what TC would suit me best. Seems alot of the fast stock turbod trucks have just the 1054?

My plans for the truck will be as followed. After getting the trans built in acouple weeks. My cp3 seems to be weak so I am probably getting the stage 3 wicked. and eventually I would like to run 60 over injecters with the small mpi twin kit.

Also is the transfercase brace really needed? I heard the newer trucks dont seem to have a problem with pump rub either but I have a 2006? Not real sure what "newer trucks" means.

I do not do alot of towing and to be real honest I do have the tendincy to street race.

precision all the way, mine is about a 2200 stall...it feels like stock only a lot less "squishy" for lack of a better way to put it.

i also dont have the tcase brace..but i would like one to be safe. and you will need the pump rub fix IIRC they didn't fix it till 07. when my trans was done my pump had already begun to rub. lucky George caught it when he did

that im not sure on, i just let george handle everything and put in what he thought would be best.

George likes tight converters and in a stock turbo and stock turbo twin application they are fine but loose converters allow you to spool larger turbo(s) I am very happy with my PI 2700 stall converter

The 1054 is a good converter but I like the PI TT better.

The bitter taste of poor quality remains much longer than the sweet taste of a low price.
I'm not afraid to spend alittle more for a better product. I was originally wanting the ML, Just wanted to make it would work just as good with twins.

You guys think the TT would perform better with twins than the ML or any Suncaost TC? Twins probably wont go on it for 2 years

Go with the ML.

I like mine ALOT even though I have an LB7. I really like the fact that it is loose down low at idle so it doesn't push me through a stop, but when it comes in it is SOLID! I've never driven a truck with a SUNCOAST, but I have ridden in some. And I think the PRECISION is a better feeling converter.

ML it is. I don't see it on PIs website. I know PPEs TC is the same. Where are you guys getting them from, Mike L.? Mike would there be any difference in pricing buying directly from you or ppe?

ML gets my vote , they feel very good in LBZ's , 1054 is too tight for my taste , 1056 is good , but kinda like vanilla ice cream nothing bad about it but nothing great either. Plus Precisions is very good about warranty's and stand behind there product.
