I had the factory y-bridge blow an o-ring the other day going home from work. I ordered the Wherli y-bridge kit and am currently waiting for it to arrive. I was wondering how many of you all have installed one on an LLY and how much of a nightmare it was. I have watched a couple youtube vids about installing them but first hand experience cannot be overlooked. I will try to remember to post pics to document my experience along the way.

The worst part is getting the rear bolts nuts out. Find a shorter bolt for the rear passenger side upper bolt. Unhook the turbo coolant line so you can move the line.

Would you happen to remember the bolt size? I will pick up a couple before I start.

Personally I would recommend loosening the 3 turbo hold-down bolts so you can rock the turbo. That will allow you to get the bolts/nuts removed and started easier. This is a good 4-6 beer job so make sure you stay hydrated. Other than that it isn't too hard.

I put mine on when my engine was on the ground so I can't be of too much more help than that, sorry!
