Hey guys just wrapping up an lly swap on my 03 but im fighting a couple gremlins that my truck had previously does anyone know what plugs into this plug behind the cluster. Its upper left side right behind gauge cluster. Ive looked at alldata and still cant seem to find where that specific plug may plug into. Thanks!!!

Sun load sensor maybe? Right in the middle of the dash towards the windshield should be a sensor looks like a little dome it may plug into that

Something plugs into that plug, did your donor vehicle have tweeters in the a-pillar covers could be that as well

Tweeters are plugged in thats a lil white plug and the light sensor is also plugged in. The plug comes out of the A pillar harness that goes up to the mirror and down to white relay block at kick panel. I just looked at a 05 lly and i dont see that plug so im a lil lost as to where it may go. Dkatubi06 Should i be swapping in an 05 bcm my truck is an 03 was told it didnt matter but thought id ask since youve done a swap. Im having some codes im trying to track down thats why i ask.

What are you using for the swap? Just the underhood and body harness? Or doing all the harnesss like I did? I believe an 03 bcm will work as long as the donor parts came from a truck that has the same options. But, if you have an 05 bcm it can’t hurt to switch them out

P0670 is a glow plug control code
C0055 is rear wheel speed circuit code
2476 is on star code
2610 is passenger compartment dimming circuit 1
2615 is same as above except it’s curcuit 2
B0159 is either a pcm code or and HVAC-automatic code

The rear wheel speed circuit is either the rear wheel speed sensor on the t-case or trans, the abs computer on top of the valve body, the ecm, or a broken wire(just fought this issue with mine and it was a broken wire the whole time)

Your dimming codes could be anything from the cluster to a bulb being burned out and it NOT giving feedback to the BCM

The glow control code could be the controller or a glow plug itself

And the 0159 I’d start with the HVAC control on the dash

Im using the engine harness and the trans harness. Ive got another lly glow plug module im gonna try and im gonna swap the bcm out and see what it does. Ive had nothing but issues with my hvac controls since i got the truck. The truck is an LT and has the auto climate. Probably needs new module, honestly wish i could go with the manual controls but im sure it talks with the bcm. Also had an ambient air temp sensor code as well. I wish i knew a lil more about reading the wiring schematics but i look at them and am lost, lol. I appreciate the help, you gave me somewhere to start.

I found that sumbitch. lol Had to pull the dash cover off to get to it. It was a 4 wire black plug behind the gauge cluster.
