The turbo coolant line that is not the one on the upper radiator pipe comes from the bottom of the thermostat housing IIRC, on the bottom of the coolant crossover casting. There is a nipple welded to yet another coolant bypass pipe. But my memmory could be a little rusty...

I would just cap the line at the end of the hardline near the turbo, and get a plug to delete the thermostatic valve in the upper pipe and call it gravy. :thumb:

So best thing to do it put a bolt in the rubber hose and hose clamp it?

Or cut off the nipple off the coolant crossover and weld and flat plate on it. But I would just bolt it closed. Unless they make a cap that small like what people block there pcv nipple with on the airbox. One of those clamped to the crossover pipe would look nicer if it would hold.

x2, I pulled mine off and welded it shut. Ran a rubber cap for a long time though.

Gotcha. I got it now. I'll just go ahead and order the screw in cap from Tony, then put a bolt in the line for now.

Thanks!
