Whats going on guys. Figured I would throw this up to see what cool places you guys been too for vacation. My gf and I are starting to travel some and im curious to what else is out there. Right now, were on vacation at Niagara Falls on the canada side until tomorrow, then going to Toronto for 4 days.

My grandfather always has extra timeshares left over at the end of the year and my cousins always use them this time he offered one to me. So next month, we are going to Breckenridge Colorado. Dont know what exactly the plans are out there as my gf seems to take over planning everything lol

Here are some pics of Niagara. Enjoy

My family owns a share on a houseboat at Lake Powell which is located in northern AZ/southern UT. Beautiful clean lake with some breathtaking views. Lots of fun wakeboarding, Jet skiing, cliff jumping, fishing, hiking, bonfires, and of course drinking. This can be a family trip or a group trip with your best friends. I've traveled a lot fortunately and no Mexico or Virgin Islands getaway comes close to being as enjoyable as a week on the lake.

Colorado is amazing for sure. I just got back from hiking/camping Pictured Rocks National Lake Shore in Michigan. The views and area are amazing and for a place most people would overlook, it is awesome. Even if you are not into camping, they have a boat to take you along the shore for the scenic views.

Silverton, CO and Imperial Sand Dunes, CA. Silverton is FULL of jeep trails and the scenery is just awesome. always cold up there in the summer time and tons of old mining equipment as well as historical land marks with tours of old mills and claims. Not to mention some awesome zip lining up in the mountains.

Panorama of Silverton while the wife and i were on our honey moon (thats Silverton at the bottom)

The sand dunes are hard to explain if you have never been there and played on them on a quad/motorcycle/utv/sand rail. the best way i have been able to describe it is like a roller coaster you control. when you "dune", you ride around a sand dune bowl in a big U like going into a banked turn, then after going into the bottom, you hit the next dune on the other side and continue to bank turns from one dune to the next till you stop or someone gets sick lol. ive been going there for 28 years and have yet to be bored of it!

Just getting from taking a boat right into the falls this morning. This place is crazy. It was like being in a hurricane going into it at first, then once past the mist...it was calm as can be and got to take a quick video. Enjoy

Glacier national is really nice. It has similiar scenery to yellowstone without as many tourists. Amicolola falls in north Georgia is a really nice scenic place in the south. We really like staying in Cherokee N Carolina, its at the south end of the smokies with easy access, but isn't as touristy as Gatlinburg on the north side.

We own a houseboat on lake Powell also. We are actually headed up there in just a few weeks. I've grown up going to lakes and rivers and always made a trip or two to havasu every year. Then we decided to hit up lake Powell and I never looked back. The lake is simply the best. I can't wait to get up there.

We also love Glamis or the imperial sand dunes. We will be there in December. The dunes are indeed hard to explain to someone who hasn't been. To tell someone your headed to the middle of the desert with nothing but sand, and that its beautiful and fun doesn't always register. Non the less this is another spot I've gone too every year since I was a kid. No pictures unfortunately.

Now Alaska is simply stunning. We just got back this may from our second trip there. Simply amazing to see!!!

Lake Powell is the place for sure! We go twice a year every year. We also have been to The US Virgin Islands and if you hit the weather right it is great. Hawaii is always a good choice. Of course it depends on the dollars you want to throw at vacation.

Fcuk Toronto. Take a day or two and head about 2 or 2.5hrs north to Muskoka. Most beautiful place. Screw the hustle and bustle of Toronto.

Lake Powell looks fun. I used to really enjoy Lake of the Ozarks, but it's way too crowded now. My wife and i just came back from Amelia Island last month. It's on the Northeast side of Florida and is not real well known. I love this because even on 4th of July weekend, it wasn't very crowded and it has awesome beaches. If you're not into the beach, camping Yellowstone, and riding 4 wheelers in Iron County Wisconsin were 2 of my favorite trips.

i did my college intern at Lake Powell wrenching on houseboats, it is by far one of the coolest places on earth i think, also the further south you go into Mexico it gets pretty awesome as well and typically cheaper if you venture off the beaten path :thumb:

This is true grew up on grand island which is between Niagara Falls & Buffalo....the view from the Canadian side is unbelievable looking @ the horseshoe!! They also have a jet boat that takes you up the rapids to the base of the falls...also the maid of the mist goes there as well but is geared more toward families...definitely a must see if you get to western NY

See my earlier post with the video. Maid of the mist is the USA side and hornblower is Canada side. We went up in there earlier today on the hornblaster
