Truck has being running great for me. Bought it back in January of 09. Since then all i have done to the truck is a 4inch turbo back muffler delete, Edge juice w/ attitude, and a Kennedy boost controller, set at stock. And all i have had to replace so far on it was a passenger side wheel hub, a idler arm, and now a steering box. But the truck has 84,000 miles and i know those all go on most HDs so that doesnt bother me.

But now all at once it gets crappy tho. Right now my passenger side window motor died, my driver side heated seat switch is on the crazy, my gauge cluster must be starting to die cause some times it takes 2 mins for the gauges to come on, and my IC pipe on the driver side has a hole in it . But yet the truck doesnt pull low boost codes, (idk if they do but i think it would) and my edge shows 22 pounds peaking at 23 still.

The thing with the heated seat switch is crazy. when i hit the driver side, right after i start the truck, it turns on, then directly off. its like it needs to warm up or something. but the passenger side works fine. But if the passenger side is on, like last night, and i hit mine after the truck was on for a bit, it shuts the passenger side off? I got a switch from my buddy who owns a late model GM salvage yard, but havent put it in yet, hope that fixes it. Any ideas?

Oh and anybody have a driver side IC pipe for LB7 for sale :D

Yeah, have your batteries load tested. A few of those electrical gremlins are symptoms (cluster, 4wd warning).

Window motors are pretty easy to replace.

Take I/C tube off and take to a welding shop. They could patch it up.

Yep, all relatively common issues like Tom said. She'll be fine in no time. ;)

It does stink when several things seem wrong names you feel like you have a heap.

Thanks guys, ya guess it was more like a rant than a cry for help. never thought about getting the batteries load tested tho. also i heard sometimes u cant get static? in the system for ur push button 4wd, and that u are to disconnect both battery terminals and hold the positive and negative together on the main battery for a couple of seconds. dude swears by it, but im not a thinking thats a good idea.....

guess i need to find a decent welding shop in the area.

Take a notice to the 4wd switch when the message is displayed, if the lights are out on the switch then you need to replace the switch. Cost about 45 wholesale at the dealer. As for the heated seats it is probly a short in the heater itself.

thanks man, and yes most of the time the lights are out. and sometimes tho it will be on the 2wd light then Service 4wd appears, and sometimes its the red light.

how much is a heater?
