You can get by with no tubes, I don't run tubes on ET Streets and have not had a problem. Tubes will make the truck handle better though. If you run tubes, screw the rims down. Should you "spin" the tires on the rims with tubes, it can tear the tube and cause rapid deflation through the valve stem hole.

You will want to keep your front tire pressure a bit low to improve the handling (it will sacrifice a little MPH) Perhaps start at 36 PSI front. The "tighter" the front sidewalls are, the squirrelier the truck/car gets.

You are feeling toe-in and pittman/idler play as the centerlink is rotating.

Either put on Cognito braces or a Super Diesel centerlink.

Casper goes perfectly straight on a 1.6x launch with the SDCL.

What size et streets are you running Pat, And will it matter if front tires are taller then the rear slicks

We ran 30inch. As long as you are not in 4wd it won't matter. The Neens has some cool M & H's for his 2wd.

Thanks Kat i'm lookin at the same tires the neens has. The boost launchs are scaring me hate to drop the transfer case out when I should be able to hook good enough with slicks

The dually has M&H 33X14.50X16 DOT slicks, no tubes, no screws...

My truck has M&H 12X16 Nostalgia slicks, with tubes, no screws...

The best 60' has been a 1.97 with a 2000RPM launch...I'll put screws in them before the next time out so I can leave at higher R's, it's not even close to breaking the tires loose at 2000...

The dually has done a soft 2.19 60'...

There's a lot of room for improvement with both trucks...

Yea I have the transfer case brace just hate to blow the transfer cases guts out, I only have sleeves up front and I cant turn the bars down with wheels and tires never had these werd lauchs til I put the 285/75/16 on the gunner 8 rim I run is 16x8 with the offset I had to crank the bars up 4 turns. Iv pulled 1.80 with 4wd launchs best 2wd run was 2.18 figured I might be able to get a really good 60' with slicks and I was goin to take 2 or 3 leafs out of the rear and add firestone air bags for towing along with cal track bars
