Was trying out my stock truck at a sled pull....after the event my buddy told me that both frount tires were going every were...left.right.up.down....as i remember it the steering wheel was going crasy too. After an alinment the next day all the parts were ok just very out of alinment. Im wondering if this is normal for these trucks or is something wrong.

what you need is tierod sleeves ,and pitman and idler arm braces !

The sleeves slide over your skinny inner tierods( that flex and bend) and stiffens them up. The braces stop your center link from twisting .Good investment especially for pulling ,a lil expensive but well worth the money!:thumb:

x2 to all the above about sleeves and braces, but seriously...did you even do this ^^ first or did you just "hook and go"?

Agreed I run brace kit along with kryptonite tie rods, but i still suffer from the front tire issue with the lift keys.

Lift keys are no good......go back to stock and remove the bolts when pulling

I agree with no lift keys i had to pull mine out after about a week i snapped my half shaft were the cv joint bolts to , twisted it right off. So pulled out the keys and (crossing fingers) never had a prob since!

PS: anyone want to buy a set of lift keys...lol Cheap Cheap!:roflmao:

Yeah my toursion bar was all the way up now it isnt and the wheels dont hop but the steering wheel still gos nuts.... Any thoughts. Thanks

Worn out front end parts. Need to figure out what needs to be replaced. Start at idler and pitman arms.
