:feedback:I've looked everywhere I know to look,:thinking2:and can't find the "rear wheel house liners" to fit a classic sierra/silverado (GMT-800). Does anyone know where to find them? Has anyone "modified" a set for a NBS (GMT-900) to fit?:please:

I looked everywhere for rear wheel well liners for my classic body sierra and couldn't find anybody who sold em. With a little research and some help from others I checked a Tahoe and a Suburban at a used car lot and they looked like they could be slightly modified to work. I ordered a set from the local stealership and here ya go.

I installed the fender well liners on my truck a few weeks ago. I didn't use any fasteners at the time, I just drilled two holes and used two zip ties. There are several holes already in the liners so I drilled a hole next to one of the front holes and wrapped a zip tie around the round fender support rod, and the same on the rear. I took it for a ride around town and everything stayed in place.

I removed some material, as can be seen in the second picture, so that I could get to the release lever for my B&W Turnover Ball. No material has to be removed for this to work for most folks.

The edges where I cut the liner still need to be dressed a little to make the lines straight.

I'm going to put at least two more fasteners through the sheet metal as indicated in the second picture. There is a lip in that area where the sheet metal from the floor is spot welded to the sheet metal that makes up wheel well.

The part numbers for the two liners are 15170987 & 15170988. They fit the OBS GMT-800 SUV's (Tahoe, Suburban, Etc..). They cost around $220 for the pair at the stealership.

I hope this info helps some of you.

Curious if the liners tuck enough behind the fender lip to allow you to use the pushpins to hold them in?

There isn't a lip on the liners where they meet the fender lip to use the push pins to hold em in. The liners have 6 or 8 other holes in them, about 3 in front of the wheel, 3 behind and 2 near the frame that they are fastened to the SUV's with.
