i bought two wheel bearings because i went and got my truck aligned and they said the driver side wheel bearing was bad. i figured since i was going to replace one might as well replace both. well i jacked the truck up replaced the upper ball joint and there is no play in the hub at all i tried grabbing the bottom and top and pulling in and out...no moovy! i have almost 260k miles on my truck and the wheelbearings have never been replaced. i dont drive easy either. im really confused!

did you check with the tire still on? grab the top and bottom of the tire and try to rock it

with no tire on it is hard to tell a little play gets multiplied by the tire

I still have one original wheel bearing at more than 200k of pretty hard driving. No abs codes and no play at all
