Just an FYI, I wouldn't run M and H's on the street. They'd be fine driving to the track, but unlike the ET Streets they're really not meant for the street. The wheel width is really going to depend on offset, but you sure don't need 12" wide wheels for 295's. How many miles are you planning on getting out of these tires. For obvious reasons the Nitto's are going to last forever compared to a drag radial. After looking at those tire heights, if you're planning on street driving the drag radials I'd suggest 3.42's.

tires

it is just a truck to play around with on the street and take to the local tracks just want something that will hook up, offset of the 20x10 with the 420's is a -25, the 16x12 are like -44

the m and h and et streets wont last as long if ran on the street and i am ok with that but with my gearing will those tires be better since they are smaller i believe they measure 28-29 inches

The ET Streets are 27.7" tall. You want lower gears with shorter tires. Those are pretty short tires for the street. Like I said, you don't need 12" wheels for that narrow of a tire and I wouldn't run the M and H's on the street. I'm assuming your truck is 4wd, if so go with the Nitto's. If it's 2wd, you'll enjoy some drag radials on the street:)
