What's up guys! So I had an account on another forum that I haven't been on in over a year and need to get back on the forums, so I thought I would just make an account on here. I sold my truck about 8 months ago because I was tired of putting money in it and now I realize it was grave mistake haha I would love to have it back but it is gone. I had an 05 CC/SB 4x4 dropped 6" full supporting mods and built trans with big tunes from Duramaxtuner who I highly recommend. The truck ran 8 flat in the 1/8th mile on stock fuel and air (turbo, cp3, injectors) with 190k miles on it. It was the first vehicle I built and I bought the truck stock so I had a lot of time and money invested. I did all of the work myself, I work in a small performance shop in the middle of NC and I want another truck. Ive decided that I am going to take the longer route I have got myself a block and will build the engine in my free time, once it is ready for a truck I will decide what kind to put it in (generation, cab and bedsize, ect.) Hope that I can help out anyone that needs help!

OP, do you have a stock crank lined up as a replacement or are you planning on going billet? And are you just going to build a short block then machine heads once you;ve picked which year truck you're building?

I have no plans set in stone yet which is why I have got back on the forums to gather as much knowledge as I can. Not sure yet on billet or factory crank. I have what I believe is an LBZ block need to confirm then ship it to machine shop have it bored then start hunting parts.
