As most know i got my motor pulled out of the 6.5. It has a 4l80 transmission which i will keep to put the SB 350 in. When motor come out i was looking at the torque converter. I have a spare ally torque converter from the 3 we have burnt up:rofl:. I looked at both converters and they both seem to be equal on the outside. They look the same seem to be the same weight. And hell even have the same red fluid coming out of them. Is there a differnce on the inside of these converters. Or can we run a 4l80 converter in a ally and vice versa. From looking at the ally that is on the garage floor the input shafts look to be the same also. Any input here.
Also i am not sure of the stall speed on the stock converter with the 6.5 i never had the chance to test it due to shitty motor blowing up. Say the stall speed was 2200 with the diesel. Now that i have a gas job will the stall speed remain the same.
