Baught a nitrous kit from my buddy ha has it where wide open throttle it sprays a 40 shot right b4 the inter cooler and a 90 shot on a button. Not 100% sure if its a 40/90 pill or shot. Just wondering if I should set it up like he has it or what you guys recommend. Thanks for the input.

Yea sry I didn't put info about my truck. It's all stock w ppe fuel rail upgrades and I'm ordering a ppe lift pump next week. But all stock internals. Dnt wanna kill it but match my all out tune which is a 550hp tune.
How you like that Danville btw. And would you just do a 70 single or 50 on WOT then whatever on button?
Is it a .040/.090 orifice size or 40/90 HP shot? I'm running a .051/.060 shot on the van. I've run probably 6 15lb bottles through it, and it is still running strong. I have it set up with a full throttle switch and a boost switch set to start spraying at 18 lbs of boost. The smaller stage sprays before the intercooler and the bigger stage sprays after.
Love it. I Want his 72mm. if I was you, with what few mods you have, I would just stick with a single shot of 70 unless you plan on using it competitively like josh is sayin. Then you could run two shots. I honestly haven't even ran nitrous through my truck yet. This is just from research and from what a few guys have told me that do run nitrous. Hopefully I will get the bottle filled this week and can use it at Denton this Saturday.

A .090 would be more than I would run by itself on a stock truck. I for sure wouldn't run it with a .040 pill. You need a lot more fuel to run that kind of spray. Unfortunately you can't really say for sure how much HP a jet is good for. There are too many variables at play. It depends on how much fuel you have to burn as well as how the tune is set up.
So w stick fuel system and ppe lift pump what pill should b used in a single shot setup. I want it set up so I can still play w/o nos on my all out tune and turn it on if needed

dont have any lines to the nitrous yet but i use a 35 hp shot just to spool the turbo the other 2 braided lines are my dual alky kit from alkycontrol.com .. Ima get him to make me a custom kit for the d max .. the pic was a make sure everything fits as u see the turbo inlet pipe doesnt even have a clamp thats a 70GQ water cooled turbo on a 3.8 engine ... i made the stock cover work

Id have to look at the chart because as stated every nozzle company has diff fuel nitrous pills for a certain HP #
