What's my Allison worth

I'm selling my Allison 5 speed after I finish my zf6 swap it has 173k on it shifted perfect since I had it at 93k I've flushed it every year with synthetic fluid. Fluid looked brand new when I drained it so it wouldn't make a mess what's it worth so I have an idea on what to ask

To bad you couldn't find someone going the other way then it would be worth a whole lot more. IMO your Allison is worth approx $1500/ $2500 with TC. Really depends what someone wants with it . A core or actually used as is.

I bought a used 5 speed from Russ a while back and paid him 500 for it. It had a cracked rear housing so that affected his asking price some. I personally would guess 800-1000 for a Trans with that kind of mileage but hey don't mean to kill your buzz just going off my own experiences.

In Minnesota that trans would be worth $1000-$1200. Check car-parts in your area to see what there going for.
