Whats involved in installing an input shaft?

you need to pull apart the whole front drum assembly IIRC.

need a spring compressor, snap ring pliars, feeler gauges. Ive made some custom tools as well to make it easier because normal screwdrivers are a PITA to pull the snap rings and spiral snap rings out.

watch the torrington bearings though when you put it back together because they look the same on both sides. Put it in upside down and you'll ruin the trans.
