I thought I saw they were new for 450 to 500 area posted on another site by a ats sales man.

I saw them on XDP for $500 new, no where else any cheaper. I just bought one to play with to see what there like.

Honestly.. The tuning isn't that bad. But, the letter put a frown on my face also.
