I know its easy to get ripped off buying a bed. I would like to get a king size bed and we desperately need a new mattress. What do you guys and gals sleep on?

Sealy Posturepedic... IIRC my queen was around $2000 worth every penny as my lower back pain went away

I have a TempurPedic now.....Probably wouldn't get another one. It doesn't feel near as good as it did when I bought it 5 years ago. Next time around I will probably get a Sleep Number.

Im not sure what we have now other than its a pillow top queen. Bought it used (Almost brand new off a good friend) Really cheap for the bed frame, box springs, and mattress. Now after two years i feel like its V'd really bad in the middle and my neck and back are all jacked up every morning now.

Thanks, Thats why I asked. I don't want to spend 2k and in 2 years hate the bed. I would be pissed. I've heard good things about the memory foam beds but im affraid I would sweat my sack off layin on one. I am usually always hot. and sometimes get really hot at night while sleeping.

Lets put it this way, Ive delivered more Sleep Number beds over the years than I can count, and not one person has ever sent one back unsatisfied.
I plan on buying one when our current mattress has to be replaced.

Sterns and foster here. Have had it 6 years and its just as nice as the day we brought it home. Only way I would get rid of it is to get a king instead of my queen.

Currently have a SEALY posterpedic, but planning on a sleep number for our next one. This SEALY was AWESOME for the first 2 years, but now it is getting a bit uncomforteable. Then again I'm sure my 290 pounds doesn't help any.

I have learned with beds. The softer they are the shorter there life. I bought expensive soft beds in the past and they did not last long. Me and the wife got a serta from sams club thats a little stiffer and is still like day one.

We have the one where the woman jumps up & down one side & wine glass doesn't turn over on other side in the commercial. LOL I can't remember name though.

Have slept on a Sleep Number & the bed/frame sucked - it creeked & groaned when getting in n out & moving around. Doing "the deed" would have to be boring n tame for fear of it falling apart.

Do they havd their own frames or put them on any frame? Number changing didn't impress me but I only got a handful of nights on it. Not enough to find my number prolly. :D

I'd stir clear of the foam ones if you get hot. They'll suffocate you as the foam wraps you up. Comfy nap though as the bed "hugs" you.

The sleep number beds were insanely overpriced if you ask me.

Go to a decent mattress store and try a few, let them analyze your sleep patterns on one of their sensor beds, and you'll find one you don't have to tweak with.

We have an Aireloom cal-king and it's been fantastic, great warranty and feels killer. Retail they are near $3k, but you can haggle your way down substantially, I know we weren't much over $2200 out the door.

If you're feeling brave, visit a Hastens store.

Sleep Number here after 5 years still love it. Just hate going on vacation without it.

They ain't cheap and are probably over priced, but its the only bed I've liked sleeping on. Since my water bed I have as a kid, but I just like really soft beds. They have there own frame or you "can" use your own. We have no complaints about noise, but when our dog goes under it and/or shakes her head you'll think the house is coming down.
